Website Design for Easyway Trading

Overview

Easyway Trading had been operating for over 20 years, but did not have any digital presence to help new clients understand the business process.

I designed and launched a minimal website from scratch in two weeks, including the domain, hosting, structure, copy, visuals, SEO setup and analytics.

The goal was to create a simple but credible online presence that could help the business attract new clients.

The problem

There was no existing content system, image library or digital structure to build from. The main challenges were:

  • no previous website or digital presence

  • no existing imagery and written content

  • short timeline for launch

  • to build credibility with potential clients

  • to make the website discoverable through search

Easyway Trading needed a functional website quickly, but there was no existing content system, image library, or digital structure to build from.

The main challenges were:

Process

1. Defining the website purpose

I started by identifying what the website needed to do first: explain who Easyway Trading is, what services it offers, and why potential clients should trust the company.

I focused on essential information to quickly communicate:

  • what Easyway Trading does

  • who it serves

  • what categories it sources

  • why clients work with the company

  • how potential clients can get in touch

This helped keep the website minimal, direct, and easy to navigate.

2. Designing the interface

The UI was designed to feel clean, professional, and straightforward. I used a simple layout, clear navigation, and a minimal visual style so that visitors could understand the business without friction.

The design prioritized:

  • clarity over decoration

  • fast comprehension

  • easy contact access

  • mobile-friendly browsing

  • trust-building through concise content

3. Building the brand presence

Alongside the website, I updated the company’s logo to modernize the identity while keeping it simple and business-appropriate.

I also created brochures for furniture and marble fairs, giving the company a more consistent offline and online presence.

4. Supporting visibility and growth

After launch, I set up Google Analytics and applied basic SEO practices to improve search visibility. I also started the company’s LinkedIn and Instagram accounts to build awareness and support client acquisition.

Reflection

This project taught me how much impact a simple website can have when it solves a real business need.

Because I worked independently, I had to move quickly across strategy, content, design, branding, SEO, and launch. I had to learn so many new tools and that was super fun!

The biggest challenge was building something useful without existing content or imagery.

This was a big learning, I learnt about hosting to SEO all within 2 weeks. Keeping the design minimal helped me launch quickly while still creating a professional first impression.
